New airlines want permission from the CAA to fly in Pakistan.

New local airlines, such as Jet Green, Q Airways, and Go Green Air, have reportedly applied for licenses and permissions from the CAA.

Regarding the restart of flying operations, sources disclosed that Air Indus has also communicated with the Civil Aviation Authority. Also requesting permission from the CAA to begin flying operations in Pakistan are Q Aviation and Liberty Air.

The volume of license applications, according to CAA authorities, is noteworthy for the national economy.

Along with increased foreign exchange in the aviation sector and new job possibilities, the arrival of new airlines will provide passengers better travel options.

Noteworthy are the three private businesses that are currently active in Pakistan: Airblue, SereneAir, and AirSial.

In May of last year, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) and other local airlines received a six-month performance assessment from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) ranked fourth with a departure and arrival ratio of 89.32 percent, suggesting potential for improvements in operational efficiency, according to the CAA report covering the period from July to December 2023.
