New Sindh CM is to be finalized by PPP today
According to specifics, the Pakistan People’s Party’s senior leadership is expected to make a choice over the Sindh chief minister nominee today. The party traveled from Islamabad to Karachi for political discussions with the central government.
The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Faryal Talpur, and former president Asif Ali Zardari will decide on the candidate for Sindh Chief Minister.
Murad Ali Shah is reportedly the front-runner to win back the Sindh CM House.
It should be noted that the People’s Party has secured 84 seats in the Sindh Assembly and, should it get no opposition, might become the province’s largest party.
With the allotment of reserved seats for women and minorities, the party’s membership might total 109 in the 168-seat parliament.
With the MQM-P regaining the most seats it had lost to the PTI in the last election, 28 provincial assembly seats, the PPP is set to form the government in Sindh for the fourth time in a row.
