No judicial commission, no further discussions: Sahibzada Hamid Raza

Sahibzada Hamid Raza, spokesperson for PTI’s negotiation committee, declared that the party would abstain from the fourth round of discussions unless a formal declaration is made concerning the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9.

Raza implored the government to officially announce its intent to convene the judicial commission. “Upon the announcement of the commission, we can convene another meeting to deliberate on its Terms of Reference (ToRs),” he stated.

He emphasized that if the demand is unmet, PTI will abstain from engaging in the fourth round of negotiations.

Simultaneously, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan associated the fourth round of negotiations with the establishment of the judicial commission. He asserted, “We are obligated by the PTI leader’s directives that no negotiations may advance without the formation of the judicial commission.”

PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated that a written response to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be provided on January 28.

PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated to the media in the federal capital that a decision about the establishment of a judicial committee in response to PTI’s demand has not yet been made.
