Nothing—not even politics—above Pakistan: COAS Munir

Pakistan must come before personal interests, according to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Asim Munir, who emphasized that nothing, not even politics, should take precedence over the nation.

The army chief told the business community in Karachi on Wednesday that the state is like a mother and that anyone who wants to understand the significance of it can question the people of Palestine, Iraq, and Libya.

He declared, “Pakistan is our only identity.”

“I am completely confident in Pakistan’s promising and secure future. “Now, the clouds of despair that were present a year ago have dissipated,” he stated.

COAS reiterated his earlier assertion that “despair is forbidden for a Muslim,” emphasizing that all of Pakistan’s economic indicators are now good and expressed hope that they will  better by next year

“Where are the individuals who discussed default and spread hopelessness? Should they not be held accountable? He stated.

He emphasized that Pakistan can overcome any challenging circumstance “if we all stand together.”

In order to “let the people earn, and the country will prosper,” he asked the investors to send their money to Pakistan.

“Only Pakistanis can give the country a bailout for economic stability,” he remarked. Those who operate illicit businesses are the ones who support terrorists, he noted.

“The state is accountable for safeguarding Pakistan’s digital borders and its citizens’ digital security,” COAS Munir stated.
