Olympian Arshad Nadeem is treated to supper by Maulana Tariq Jamil.

Maulana Tariq Jamil’s Instagram account uploaded a post stating that Arshad Nadeem, a famous javelin thrower, was treated to dinner. A trophy for making Pakistan proud internationally was also given to Nadeem by the religious scholar.

Following his historic world record-breaking javelin throw at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem was greeted like a hero upon his return.

One of the customary water cannon salutes was given to his aircraft as it landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

Diplomats who greeted the national hero at the airport included PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Chairman of the PM Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari, and Punjab Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
