Pak-Saudi defense cooperation to protect Muslim unity and dignity: Sanaullah

Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, the Prime Minister’s adviser on political and public affairs, stated on Saturday that Pakistan’s military and political leadership are collaborating to independently create the nation’s destiny.
He emphasized the importance of the recent Pak-Saudi defense treaty, referring to it as a “guarantee of the dignity and unity of the Muslim world,” while speaking to the business community at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI). He emphasized Pakistan’s willingness to defend its own borders as well as Islamic holy places by saying that any attack on Saudi Arabia will be viewed as an attack on Pakistan under the terms of the agreement.
He emphasized Pakistan’s strategic significance by bringing up historical occurrences such as the May 28, 1998, nuclear tests and the nation’s calm handling of the Pulwama tragedy. He declared, “The world has seen that we neither compromise on national honor nor bow to aggression.”
According to Rana Sanaullah, the administration has made difficult but necessary decisions to stabilize the economy, and he dismissed default rumors as unfounded. Although the opportunity for immediate relief was constrained by IMF program limits, he expressed confidence that good results will soon be apparent.
He pledged to give industrial centers like Faisalabad special attention and urged the business community to maintain transparency in order to improve Pakistan’s standing in the international economy.
In response to inquiries from the media, he stated that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had set aside a sizable portion of development funds for Faisalabad, however some had to be reallocated to meet flood relief requirements. He also promised to support the establishment of a cancer hospital in Faisalabad and acknowledged long-standing negligence in infrastructure development.
