Pakistan and India are having fruitful discussions: FM Ishaq Dar informs NA

Pakistan is involved in serious conversations and positive relations with India, according to Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who provided written answers to questions from members during Wednesday’s National Assembly session.
Dar underlined that the goal of the negotiations is to settle all unresolved matters, including Kashmir. He urged India to create a conducive environment for dialogue, noting that India’s illegal occupation of Kashmir remains a significant hurdle.
“Despite challenges in bilateral ties, Pakistan has acted responsibly,” the foreign minister stated, adding that the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) has been maintained.
He also revealed that Pakistan renewed the Kartarpur Corridor agreement with India for another five years in October 2024.
