Pakistan and Saudi Arabia formalized the annual Hajj agreement for 2025 to assist pilgrims.
The accord was executed by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Saudi Minister of Hajj & Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah at a formal ceremony.
According to the accord, 179,210 pilgrims from Pakistan will undertake Hajj this year. It has been agreed that optimal facilities will be provided to Pakistani pilgrims, who will also receive special accommodation in Mina at reduced rates.
The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah has pledged to offer comprehensive assistance to enhance amenities for Pakistani pilgrims.
Additionally, a brief Hajj program lasting 20 to 25 days has been established. The pilgrims may choose their lodging in Madinah for a duration of four to eight days.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that specially made bags including the Pakistani flag, identification code, and further information will be distributed to pilgrims.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain will attend a four-day international Hajj conference and expo held by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj in Jeddah.
