Pakistan currently has $14.7 billion in foreign exchange reserves.

The SBP now holds $9.42 billion in reserves in Pakistan, up US$ 19 million from the last announcement from the central bank. Pakistan’s commercial banks currently hold 5.27 billion of the country’s net foreign reserves, according to the SBP.

As to the release, SBP reserves witnessed a gain of US$ 16 million to US$ 9,405.1 million for the week that concluded on July 5, 2024.

Previous reports on July 12th stated that the nation’s liquid foreign reserves were $14.645 billion.

The SBP announced that commercial banks in Pakistan held US$ 5.24 billion in net foreign reserves.

“SBP reserves increased by US$ 19 million to US$ 9,423.7 million during the week ended on July 12, 2024,” according to a statement from SBP.
