Pakistan is praised by the OIC and MWL secretaries general for their “successful” campaign on females’ education.

The Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa and Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), praised Pakistan for organizing the two-day International Conference on Girls’ Education in Muslim Communities.

These opinions were voiced by the dignitaries as they concluded their trip to Islamabad, where they had attended the gathering of more than 150 delegates from 44 Muslim and friendly nations.

According to both Secretaries General, the action will inspire coordinated efforts to enhance women’s empowerment and high-quality education throughout the Muslim world.

They conveyed their appreciation to the Pakistani government for providing them and their separate delegations with such a warm welcome when they were in Islamabad.

The dignitaries were greeted by senior government officials and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, as they departed at the Islamabad International Airport.

Nergis Shazia Chaudhary, Director of Home Publicity at the Press Information Department, gave the visitors a photo album as a memento of their trip to Pakistan.
