Pakistan is still experiencing a cold wave, with snowfall in the north and thick fog in Punjab.

There is still a severe cold wave affecting the entire country, with Punjab dealing with thick fog and the northern regions seeing a lot of snow.

While temperatures in Gopis, Astore, and Leh were reported as low as -10°C, Skardu saw temperatures drop as low as -11°C.

Temperatures in Bagrot, Hunza, Kalam, and Gilgit varied from -6°C to -7°C. Chitral has had severe snowfall, which has interrupted daily life by obstructing ground access to its higher regions.

Meanwhile, transport was disrupted by the thick fog that pervaded Punjab’s plains. Poor visibility has forced the closure of the motorway M4 from Abdul Hakeem to Multan and the M5 from Multan to Rohri.

To maintain safety, motorway police have recommended residents avoid needless travel.
