Pakistan persists in delivering aid to Gaza and Lebanon.
Humanitarian aid is still being sent to the impacted populations of Gaza and Lebanon by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) per Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s orders.
Today, the seventeenth relief shipment was sent from Karachi to Lebanon. About 17 tons of supplies, including tents, food tins, dry milk, rice, clothing, hygiene kits, and medications, were involved in this relief shipment, which was supplied by NDMA in partnership with the Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The second shipment of supplies was previously sent to Lebanon from Karachi on Thursday. Together with the Al-Khidmat Foundation, NDMA donated this relief package, which includes about 100 tons of supplies such as medications, ready-to-eat meat, tents, tarpaulins, warm bedding, winter clothes, and powdered milk.
The aid was flown to Beirut, Lebanon, from Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, according to a press statement.
NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Al-Khidmat Foundation, and local government leaders attended the send-off ceremony at Jinnah International Airport.
The attendees of the ceremony underlined the pressing necessity, given the ongoing violence and the needs of the impacted communities, to deliver aid to the war-torn inhabitants of Palestine and Lebanon.
They underlined the government’s commitment to helping their ailing brothers and sisters and emphasized the value of cooperation between the Pakistani public and welfare groups in bolstering these initiatives.
