Pakistan pledged to deepen its diplomatic relations with Belarus: Ayaz Sadiq
“This visit marks an important step forward in our bilateral relations,” stated Ayaz Sadiq at a meeting in Minsk with Speaker Igor Sergeyenko of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. We are excited to build on the precedents set by our three decades of diplomatic ties, and we sincerely appreciate your hospitality.
According to a news release issued today, the speaker stressed the need of strengthening parliamentary connections between Belarus and Pakistan, with a particular emphasis on broadening the legislative framework for collaboration.
It is our goal to make sure that current agreements are more effective by reviewing and upgrading them. “To encourage closer interaction, our Parliament will be actively working on these frameworks,” Ayaz Sadiq declared.
Reiterating Pakistan’s support for Belarus in international fora, including its application to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the speaker touched on the topic of bilateral cooperation.
Furthermore, he reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to assist Belarus in gaining membership in the organizations of which Pakistan is a member. “We are prepared to provide our support whenever it is possible, and we think that our collaboration can be mutually beneficial,” he emphasized.
At international fora, Pakistan’s unwavering support was acknowledged by Mr. Igor Sergeyenko, Speaker of the Belarusian House of Representatives.
Syed Tariq Hussain, Syed Hafeezuddin, and Member of the National Assembly M. Aslam Ghumman made up the Pakistani legislative delegation, which he welcomed and described as a major step forward in deepening relations between the two nations.
