The President and Prime Minister conveyed their congratulations, while the Foreign Office spokesperson emphasized the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and the U.S., expressing optimism for further enhancement and asserting that the change in U.S. leadership would not affect bilateral relations.
Upcoming Organization of Islamic Cooperation conference
Pakistan’s diplomatic emphasis continues to be on Middle Eastern matters. At the forthcoming OIC meeting, the Foreign Office has stated that the Prime Minister will discuss the Gaza issue, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, to engage with OIC leaders on the summit’s periphery.
