Pakistan was given the sacred responsibility of protecting the holy mosques. Tarar

Attaullah Tarar, the Federal Information Minister, stated on Thursday that Pakistan is extremely proud and honored to have been given the sacred responsibility of protecting the Holy Mosques (Haramain Sharifain).
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar deserve the credit for the defense agreement with Saudi Arabia,” Atta Tarar told reporters in London.
Atta Tarar went on to say that Pakistan’s standing has grown significantly and that it was a source of immense joy to see Pakistani flags flying with pride on Saudi territory. He highlighted that Pakistan’s foreign policy has achieved great achievement in the last 18 months and called the deal historic.
Notably, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia recently signed a strategic mutual defense agreement during Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia. Both nations’ shared commitment to strengthening their security and pursuing regional and international peace and stability is reflected in the agreement. Its goal is to guarantee mutual defense against any aggression and to fortify defense cooperation.
The pact states that any attack on one nation will be interpreted as an attack on both.
