Iran defeated Pakistan 45-41 to win the World Beach Kabaddi Championship. It was an exciting final with Iran winning by six points.
Earlier, Pakistan trounced Iraq by a score of 58-21 in the morning semi-final.
Teams from the first World Beach Kabaddi Championship included Melli, Nepal, Turkmenistan, Denmark, Pakistan, Palestine, Kenya, Germany, and Lebanon.
The Pakistan Sports Complex served as the national team’s training base prior to the World Beach Kabaddi Championship.
The chosen players received preparation for the World Beach Kabaddi Championship from September 25 to 30, according to Muhammad Sarwar Rana, Secretary General of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
