Pakistan’s weekly inflation rate decreases by 0.16 percent.

The most recent report from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) shows that the country’s weekly inflation rate has decreased by 0.16 percent. The current annual inflation rate for the nation is 3.95 percent.
According to the PBS study, 11 commodities had a decrease in price during the past week, while 17 items saw an increase.
Eggs increased by 0.88 percent, flour by 0.76 percent, and tomatoes by 9.04 percent.
Mutton increased by 0.40 percent, washing soap by 0.47 percent, powdered milk by 0.58 percent, and jaggery by 0.64 percent. The cost of fresh milk, cooking oil, and ghee also increased.
Conversely, the price of potatoes plummeted by 2.44 percent, bananas by 4.22 percent, and chicken by 12.46 percent.
In the meantime, the price of LPG dropped by 0.65% and onions by 1.61 percent. 23 goods’ prices remained constant during the week.
