Permission to organize a public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan was denied by PTI.

The decision was made because of a number of international events that are planned to occur in the city this month, such as the Commonwealth Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference and a one-day cricket series, according to a notification released by the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

According to the announcement, the city would also host other events including the Faiz Amn Mela, the Lahore Horse and Cattle Show, and a national cricket series.

The Punjab administration has already asked the army and Rangers for help in keeping the peace during these activities, it continued.

The authorities pointed out that a rally there would detract from Minar-e-Pakistan’s historic charm.

PTI Khyber Pakhtunkwa President and recently appointed Public Accounts Committee Chairman Junaid Akbar claimed in a video address that the public gathering on February 8 would be the biggest in Pakistani history.

He stated that making sure the event on February 8 is a success should be the main priority. Ali Amin Gandapur was also commended by Junaid Akbar, who said that he led the party when no one else was prepared to do so. He went on to say that Ali Amin Gandapur would not be asked for money to cover the costs of the demonstration.

According to Junaid Akbar, each village council is responsible for organizing worker mobilization and transportation at its own level for the PTI event on February 8.
