PM scheduled to visit Quetta today to check on wounded soldiers

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Power Minister Awais Leghari will accompany Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his daylong visit to Quetta today, Monday, to inquire about the security personnel injured during an anti-terror operation in Kalat a few days ago. In addition to receiving a briefing on the state of law and order, Sharif will also meet with provincial leadership in Quetta.

It stated that during the night of January 31 to February 1, terrorists tried to set up barricades in a Kalat location.

“This cowardly act of terrorism was committed at the behest of hostile and hostile forces with the intention of upsetting the peaceful environment of Balochistan by primarily targeting innocent civilians,” the statement stated.

In order to ensure the safety and security of the local population, security personnel and law enforcement agencies were promptly mobilized. They were successful in stopping the terrorists’ terrible plan and murdered 12 of them.

The official statement stated that 18 courageous sons of land made the ultimate sacrifice and accepted shahadat after fighting valiantly during the course of operations.
