PM Shehbaz leaves for Geneva following his visit to the United States.

Following his visit to the United States, where he attended the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif left for Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday.
In Geneva, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif would tell former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the US visit and ask him how he is feeling. Today (Saturday), Shahbaz Sharif will depart Geneva and spend three days in London.
Notably, Shahbaz Sharif opened his statement with a passage from the Holy Quran at the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. He gave Secretary-General António Guterres credit for guiding the UN through a very trying period.
He claimed that false propaganda and fake news have damaged public confidence, that terrorism has grown to be a major threat to international security, and that humanitarian issues are spreading around the world.
The prime minister underlined that one of the biggest threats to our survival is climate change. He claimed that international confrontations are getting more intense and accused India of engaging in political games. He pointed out that political exploitation of the Pahalgam incident occurred.
Shahbaz Sharif added that Pakistan responded appropriately to enemy assault during the most recent war under the command of Field Marshal Asim Munir. India will never forget the historic response when the Pakistan Air Force shot down six Indian aircraft with professional skill.
