PM Shehbaz leaves for the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh.

As stated by the Prime Minister’s Office, he will speak at the Arab-Islamic Summit and participate in talks on important regional matters.

It is also anticipated that PM Shehbaz will meet with a number of world leaders during the occasion. Tariq Fatemi, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, and Attaullah Tarar, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, are traveling with him on this diplomatic trip.

Convened by the Saudi government, the Arab-Islamic Summit will address important Middle Eastern topics, such as the state of affairs in Gaza and Palestine. The heads of state and government from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Arab League member nations are present at this historic event.

At the meeting, PM Shehbaz would reiterate Pakistan’s full support for the Palestinian cause and demand an immediate end to the genocide in Gaza, an urgent and unconditional ceasefire, and an immediate end to the ongoing Israeli adventurism in the region that jeopardizes the security of Middle Eastern nations, according to Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, spokesperson and additional foreign secretary in Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The creation of an independent State of Palestine with Quds Al Sharif as its capital, along with international protection for the Palestinian people, are other demands Pakistan will make, she said.

In addition, the prime minister is anticipated to meet bilaterally with leaders of other OIC and Arab League member states during the summit.

The Prime Minister will also go to Baku, Azerbaijan, to attend the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference, which includes the World Leaders Climate Action Summit scheduled for November 12–13.

Alongside the prime minister, who will make a strong case for climate justice and solidarity based on the well-established principles of equity and shared but distinct responsibilities and capabilities, will be senior officials, including Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister.
