PM Shehbaz: Pakistan has made tremendous diplomatic progress with the SCO Summit.
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, celebrated Pakistan’s diplomatic triumph in successfully hosting the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The prime minister stated at a dinner held in honor of senators from government-allied parties in Islamabad that Pakistan’s worldwide standing has grown even more as a result of its successful hosting of the SCO summit.
Asserting his admiration for the allies, PM Shehbaz stated that every pertinent institution collaborated as a unit to successfully conclude the SCO summit in Pakistan.
The Chinese Premier’s visit turned out to be a great success as well, he noted prior to the SCO conference. The “crucial” role that Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar played in ensuring the success of the event was expressly recognized by PM Shehbaz.
Speaking with assurance that the government will reply to its political opponents with real growth and prosperity in the nation, PM Shehbaz expressed faith in the nation’s continuous economic recovery and stability.
The country’s economy has steadied and it even met the 2025 targets ahead of schedule in 2024, according to the prime minister, because of the government’s sensible policies.
In a short period of time, the prime minister claimed, the inflation rate saw a sharp decrease.
By putting aside their political interests, he claimed that political parties aligned with the government worked hard to preserve economic stability.
In a message to the Senate leaders of coalition parties, the prime minister said, “You have all sacrificed your politics and worked hard; the results are economic stability and diplomatic successes.”
To help the nation overcome its challenges, he continued, sacrifices were made by all political parties and the populace. “Every institution and political party is cooperating for the advancement of the country,” he continued.
According to PM Shehbaz, out-of-country Pakistanis’ faith in the current government has been demonstrated by the steady rise in international remittances over the past few months.
Speaker of the House Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and senators from government-aligned parties were present.
