The Chinese specialists’ delegation visited Pakistan from July 30 to August 6, 2024, and PM Shehbaz was informed of their visit during the review meeting he chaired on Chinese investment in Islamabad. There, he issued these directions.

In order to increase the amount of Pakistani items exported, the meeting was informed that sectoral roadshows would be held in several Chinese cities.

In order to transfer technology, upgrade electric vehicles, electro-medical gadgets, and other areas, Chinese professionals will also be hired.

A Chinese auto components manufacturer was informed during the conference that it had made great progress toward setting up shop in Pakistan.

Every province should have equal possibilities to send students for this training, according to the prime minister’s directive.

To ensure the transparent selection of Pakistani researchers and students for agricultural training in China, the prime minister ordered the formation of a committee headed by Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reform.

Ahad Khan Cheema, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Federal Minister for Industry and Production, Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Federal Minister for Energy, Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs, Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal, and appropriate senior government officials were present.
