PM Shehbaz Sharif leaves for the UNGA session and returns to Pakistan
Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, has returned home from the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, USA.
Details indicate that after his visit to the United States for the UNGA session, he traveled to Pakistan via London.
PM Shehbaz denounced the continuing horrors in Gaza during his speech to the UN, saying that merely denouncing them was insufficient and that they needed to end right away.
However, the UN’s official YouTube channel had a record number of viewers for Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
PM Shehbaz Sharif’s speech received more views than US President Joe Biden’s, according to data made public by the UN Center for Public Opinion Research.
While 103,000 people watched US President Joe Biden’s address, over 141,000 people have watched PM Shehbaz Sharif’s speech thus far.
More than 81,000 people viewed the address made by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and more than 51,000 people watched Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s UNGA speech.
