Police say a notorious criminal was slain in Lahore by accomplices.
Police said that when the suspect, Muhammad Riaz, was being held and transported to arrest his accomplices and retrieve his weapons, his collaborators opened fire on the police party attempting to liberate him.
Muhammad Riaz was allegedly murdered by the attackers’ firing, which allowed them to flee, the police claimed.
Muhammad Riaz, according to the authorities, is a well-known criminal with a string of horrible offenses, including murder and attempted murder.
To catch Riaz’s accomplices, who escaped the scene in the dark, the police have begun a search and rescue operation in the region.
Ahsan Shah, the main suspect, was being taken by the CIA to the Shadbagh neighborhood of Lahore in order to retrieve evidence. The police further stated that “the police convoy was fired upon by Ali Raza, the brother of Ahsan Shah, and unidentified accomplices.”
Ahsan Shah was shot by his colleagues and was being transported to the hospital in severe condition when he passed away from his wounds, according to the police.
On February 19, Ameer Balaj Tipu, son of Arif Ameeir, also known as Tipu Truckanwala (goods transport network), was shot and killed in what police said was a deliberate attack close to the Thokar Niaz Beg locality of Lahore.
