Presentation of the Quetta blast preliminary report at a high-level meeting

According to both leaders, the fight against terrorism is the fight of all Pakistanis, and they stand in sympathy with the families of those killed in the Quetta explosion.

The federal government would offer all support for preserving peace and eliminating terrorists from the province, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated in a conversation with the chief minister.

In his remarks, the chief minister of Balochistan stated that further measures are being taken to maintain the state of law and order and reaffirmed that a small number of individuals are engaged in terrorist operations within the province, which will be eradicated in all manners.

Following that, a high-level discussion on the state of law and order in Balochistan was chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistani Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. During the conference, the Quetta blast’s preliminary report was delivered.

The group determined to expand intelligence-based operations to stop the evil plans of anti-state elements and to take decisive action with full force to smash the terrorists.

In his remarks, Mohsin Naqvi assured the audience that the federal government will do everything within its power to assist the government of Balochistan in combating terrorism. He also pledged to give Balochistan priority access to resources.

He declared that steps would be done to train police, CTD, levies, and other Balochistani forces and to improve their professional capacities in order to combat the threat of terrorism.

Speaking at the gathering, Balochistani Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that the federal government would help to modernize and enhance the professional skills of the police, CTD, and Levies.

The administration is determined to confront those who seek to undermine Pakistan by advancing their evil plans, he said.

Sarfraz Bugti pledged to eradicate the threat of terrorism and maintain harmony throughout the province.

IG Police Balochistan Moazzam Jah Ansari, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shahab Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, and other high-ranking officials, including Commissioner Quetta Division Hamza Shafqaat, were also present at the meeting.
