President and PM praise the PAF’s bravery and contemporary skills on Air Force Day.

On Air Force Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari gave the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) a heartfelt homage, recognising its professionalism, historic sacrifices, and pivotal role in defending the country’s airspace.

According to President Zardari’s statement, the PAF was instrumental in the “war of truth, Operation Banyan al-Marsoos,” providing the enemy with a suitable response on all fronts.

The Air Force “created a history of bravery and valour” and had always stood firm with professionalism and guts, he said, recalling the 1965 battle. “The country honours its ghazis and martyrs,” he continued.

According to the president, the PAF’s contemporary capabilities are a “guarantee of national defence,” and the force has continuously and unwaveringly protected the nation’s airspace and integrity.
