Prior to the PTI gathering, Punjab executes Section 144 in Mianwali.
For the week of October 1–7, the Punjabi government strictly implemented Section 144, which forbids political meetings, sit-ins, rallies, marches, and protests in Mianwali.
This decision was made in reaction to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) October 2 protest call in Mianwali.
In addition to the Punjab Home Department’s announcement that the district administration recommended that Section 144 be implemented, it was also agreed to place Rangers in the region, with two companies stationed from October 1 to October 3.

In order to preserve property, save lives, and uphold law and order, Section 144 has been put into place. The prohibition has something to do with the area’s perceived terrorism threat as well.
This decision’s timing is noteworthy since, on Imran Khan’s orders, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has already declared a protest in Mianwali for October 2.
The situation is being closely watched by the authorities in order to prevent any unfortunate events during this crucial time.
