PTI declines to participate in the Parliamentary NSC meeting.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has declined to attend the Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting.
During a news conference with leaders of the Tahafuz-e-Aeen Movement, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja announced that the decision was reached during a political committee meeting on Monday.
Only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will attend the meeting in his official capacity; no other PTI representatives will be present.
Raja asserted that the PTI opposed any military intervention and called for Imran Khan’s release on parole.
Tahafuz-e-Aeen Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the leader of Pakistan, challenged the legitimacy of the conference, asserting that an unconstitutional prime minister has the authority to convene such a session.
Allam Raja Nasir Abbas and Sahibzada Hamid Raza expressed analogous apprehensions, insisting on the inclusion of Imran Khan in critical security deliberations.
Omar Ayub, the opposition leader in the National Assembly, condemned the little notice for the security meeting, emphasizing that PTI leaders were barred from accessing Imran Khan despite judicial directives.
Previously, various factions of the opposition alliance, including the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), and Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), declared their intention to boycott the meeting of the Parliamentary National Security Committee.
