PTI founder, key leaders face charges over Islamabad protest
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, former First Lady Bushra Bibi, PTI founder Imran Khan, and other significant individuals are reportedly listed in the eight cases.
Thousands of unnamed persons, local authorities, and well-known figures like Salman Akram Raja and Sheikh Waqas Akram are also involved in these instances.
Numerous police stations, including Shahzad Town, Sihala, Bani Gala, Khanna, Shams Colony, Tarnol, Noon, and Nilore, have received the charges.
Numerous offenses are covered by the allegations, such as terrorism, breaking the Assembly Act, assaulting police, kidnapping, interfering with official business, and violating Section 144.
After its founder’s last call, PTI began its march towards Islamabad on November 24. The demonstrators were able to get past the barriers the government had put up to stop them and make it to the Blue Area.
To disperse the demonstrators, law enforcement authorities conducted a significant operation last night.
After police and rangers successfully removed PTI protestors from Blue Area, the demonstrators started to head back to their homes.
