PTI founder orders cancellation of the party’s Islamabad gathering: The Gandapur

We have canceled the public meeting per our leader’s instruction, stated KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

“Here, the chief minister said that the party’s September 8 rally in Islamabad had been approved by the government.

He claimed that by withdrawing permission for the public meeting, the government had repeatedly rejected the court ruling.

Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, “has proven again that he loves the country and its people and doesn’t want confrontation,” Gandapur stated. “The nation and the country are his thoughts, not himself,” the chief minister continued.

The No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the public gathering was revoked by the Islamabad administration, prompting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to announce that the power show in Tarnol today would be postponed.

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the PTI, announced that Imran Khan, the party’s founder, had decided to postpone the Islamabad power showcase.

On September 8, PTI leaders were given the NOC and the deputy commissioner granted permission for the party to hold a rally in Islamabad.

The NOC for the public meeting organized by PTI today was revoked by the Islamabad government yesterday.

At an Intelligence Committee meeting presided over by Chief Commissioner Islamabad, a decision was reached. Permission for the public assembly cannot be granted in such conditions, the district authorities claimed, citing the fact that religious parties had also called for protests.
