Punjab introduces additional topic groups to the matriculation curriculum.

A significant alteration has been implemented in Punjab’s educational framework.

The Punjab government has broadened the topic groupings offered for matriculation.

New disciplines, such as Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Information Technology, and Entrepreneurship, have been incorporated into the matriculation syllabus and will be implemented in the upcoming academic year.

Khalid Nazir, Secretary of Schools Education Punjab, announced that institutions providing Health Sciences will be situated in proximity to DHQ and THQ hospitals to facilitate practical experience for students.

He further elucidated that the aggregate scores for matriculation examinations will remain 1100, and pupils must select their preferred subject group at the commencement of Grade 9.
