Punjab’s CM, Maryam Nawaz, permits 657 passenger buses.
The decision to evaluate the province’s transportation project was made during a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The chief minister was informed at the discussion about the plans to provide 657 eco-friendly buses and 20,000 electric bikes for metropolitan areas.
The authorities informed CM Maryam Nawaz at the meeting that the project will be started on May 9.
Speaking to the attendees, Punjab’s first female chief minister stated that she was well aware of the issues the province’s citizens were facing.
All inter- and intra-district roads will be rehabilitated as part of the “Sarkein Bahaal Punjab Khushhal” project, which was ordered to be started earlier this month by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz.
As the meeting’s chair, she gave the relevant authorities the go-ahead to begin the initiative for Punjab’s citizens’ socioeconomic development.
She said, “No road should be left broken in Punjab in six months,” adding that all inter- and intra-district road repairs and rehabilitations have to be finished as soon as possible without sacrificing the caliber of the job.
