Rawalpindi’s Metro Bus Service is halted.
The Metro Bus administration claims that because of continuous track work, the service from Saddar Station to Faizabad is still unavailable. However, everything is running smoothly from the Pak Secretariat to IJP Road.
Authorities at Metro Bus have promised that repairs are being made and that service would be restored as quickly as possible.
The metro’s Rawalpindi section, which runs from Saddar to Faizabad, was already suspended for planned repair from November 28 to December 1.
The Islamabad–Rawalpindi metropolitan area in Pakistan is served by the 83.6 km (51.9 mi) Rawalpindi–Islamabad Metrobus bus rapid transit system.
The Red Line, Orange Line, Blue Line, and Green Line are its four routes. While the Blue and Green Lines now travel alongside regular traffic along the Srinagar Highway and the Islamabad Motorway, respectively, the Red and Orange Lines have dedicated lanes with stations built along them.
