Saif criticises Maryam and Nawaz Sharif for the talks’ failure.

On Wednesday, Khyber Pakhtunkwa Information Advisor Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif criticised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and former Premier Nawaz Sharif for the breakdown of the government-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) discussion.

“Irfan Siddiqui was given the target to end the talks in failure by the elder Sharif,” Saif said in a statement, adding that the statements made by Siddiqui and Rana Sanaullah exposed the government’s lack of seriousness.

“The government’s bad intentions were evident from the beginning of the negotiations due to the inability to establish a judicial committee. If it had established the JC, its fictitious mandate would have also been revealed,” he continued.

He said that the previous premier was observing his survival in political disarray and accused the elder Sharif of making politics more complicated.
