Sarfaraz reports that the Arabian Sea Depression is causing rain in Karachi.
North Nazimabad, Baldia Town, Ittehad Town, Site Area, and other areas of Karachi had little rain this morning.
Sardar Sarfaraz, the chief meteorologist, stated that the sea’s depression is causing rain to fall in different parts of the city.
He stated, “A cloudy weather and cloud formation along with drizzling in various city areas influenced by the system in the sea.”
He forecast that there will be no development of the meteorological system into a cyclonic cyclone. “It is likely to move towards the coast of Oman,” he continued.
As to the PMD advisory, the system is currently located approximately 1060 km southwest of Karachi, over the central Arabian Sea, near Latitude 15.6N & Longitude 64.8E.
For the following two days, the center of the system is anticipated to see squally winds with gusts of up to 50 km/h.
Fishermen are warned to use caution and stay out of the deep water.
