On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Saudi counterpart Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan met with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, who made the pledge.
Muhammad Aurangzeb underlined the government’s major reform initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth and economic stability.
He informed him about Pakistan’s improved investment climate, which has been facilitated by structural reforms, fiscal restraint, and regulatory enhancements.
Aurangzeb had already met Anna Bjerde, the World Bank’s Managing Director of Operations.
They talked about the World Bank and Pakistan’s collaboration, with an emphasis on Pakistan’s macroeconomic stability.
A close collaboration between the government and the Bank was highlighted by the finance minister, who also expressed hope that the World Bank will continue to play a significant role in the nation’s socio-economic growth.
