Security forces are praised by COAS for breaking up terrorist networks.

According to Gen. Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), terrorism has no place in society, and the security forces’ efforts to eradicate this evil are praiseworthy.

The Corps Commander welcomed the COAS on his visit to Peshawar.

He received a thorough briefing on the current state of security and the ongoing counterterrorism efforts directed at Fitna Al Khwarij. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister and the federal minister of interior also attended the briefing.

“Our forces have dismantled their infrastructure, neutralized their cells, and relentlessly pursued and killed key terrorist leaders, sending a clear message that terror has no place in our land,” he continued. This conflict is still going on, and we will see it through to the end.

The COAS also emphasized the unrelenting work of LEAs in preserving peace and order, protecting citizens, and thwarting multiple attacks.

He emphasized that each operation has been evidence of the security forces’ bravery, professionalism, and operational preparedness, which continue to counter the terrorists’ ever-evolving threats.

Any attempt to disrupt national peace would be dealt with with decisive action, the COAS made plain.

“We shall not give in to the enemy’s attempts to foment division and fear. An iron hand will be used to deal with hostile elements. They will continue to sustain significant losses, and their ability to cause harm will be severely diminished,” he stated.

The troops’ outstanding morale and unwavering dedication to defending the country’s sovereignty were also praised by the COAS.

He reaffirmed that the Pakistani military and law enforcement are an invincible force committed to defending the nation and its citizens.

He also separately interacted with politicians of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa belonging to different political parties. The participants agreed on the need for one political voice and public support against the scourge of terrorism.

The COAS acknowledged during his tour the Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies’ unflinching determination and unparalleled sacrifices, which have been crucial in breaking up terrorist networks and thwarting their evil plans.
