Security troops escalate operations in Kurram.
A curfew has been enacted in the Bagan area as security forces have escalated operations against terrorists to restore order in the district.
Law enforcement officials secured bunkers and evacuated Bagan and its adjacent regions.
The dismantling of bunkers has been halted. Thall- Parachinar main highway remained closed for traffic for the 112th day, resulting in the suspension of supply to more than 100 villages.
Commercial establishments, fuel stations, and motels were shuttered in regions impacted by violence.
Internet service has been interrupted. The local government has asserted that it has identified the perpetrators engaged in the assault on a convoy near Bagan.
It should be noted that a case of the attack was registered in CTD police station.
Provisions pertaining to anti-terrorism were incorporated in the FIR. Nineteen individuals were nominated in the case, in addition to twenty unnamed suspects.
In the FIR, it has been mentioned that the suspected terrorists opened fire on the convoy with heavy weapons.
According to the FIR, two drivers were killed in a gun attack, while four officials were injured.
