Shakeel Ahmed, a KP minister, resign due to “corruption.”
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur received a resignation letter from PTI MPA Khan, expressing his displeasure with the current government.
The minister wrote in a resignation letter to the chief minister, “I cannot stand the corruption any longer” and that he was forced to resign.
At the session of the KP Assembly, Shakeel Ahmed promised to disclose the specifics of his resignation as minister.
A previous accusation made by Shakeel Ahmed was that the chief minister was interfering in his ministry and impeding his capacity to carry out his duties because of the province’s widespread corruption and poor administration.
A summary for Shakeel Ahmed’s ouster as provincial minister has already been forwarded to the KP governor, according to the KP government, which also mentioned that the committee led by PTI founder Imran Khan had already recommended Shakeel’s dismissal.
During a meeting with Khan in jail, Shakeel, the provincial minister, voiced concerns about theft in different KP departments. This led Khan to decide to form the committee.
