Siddiqui emphasizes the need for talks to resolve political tensions.

As the government and the opposition engage in political discussion to end uncertainty in the nation, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the federal minister of education, stated that there is no alternative but to negotiate.

Siddiqui called the conversations “essentials” and told the media that Pakistan could not afford any other course. He asserted that no one can be excluded from politics, claiming that even those who were executed are still important.

The head of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQMP) stated that the parliament should be consulted before any necessary changes are made.

On January 2, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the speaker of the National Assembly, was to chair a meeting between the government and the negotiation committees of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a significant opposition group.

The list of requests will be presented by the PTI negotiation team at the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m.

As you may remember, Barrister Gohar gave an informal briefing to the media at the jail gate after meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. He said that the PTI chairman had been informed about the ongoing negotiations and had been given instructions to ensure that the process was completed within a specified time frame.

The chairman of the PTI emphasized the urgency of moving forward, noting that the first meeting of the negotiation committees was preliminary and informal, with some members not present.

“The PTI committee will present its demands to the government representatives in the next round of talks,” he said.
