Significant cabinet reorganization in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

A reorganization of the cabinet portfolios has been announced by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration, with new responsibilities for a number of ministers, special assistants, and advisors. The Chief Minister’s Secretariat made the announcement on Wednesday.
The announcement states that the Health Department has been given to Khaleeq-ur-Rehman, who previously oversaw the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control portfolio. From Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) to full minister, Dr. Amjad Ali has been promoted.
Pakhtoon Yar Khan has been appointed Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, and Fazal Shakoor has been appointed Minister of Culture, Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums.
Public Health Engineering has been allocated to Syed Fakhar Jehan in the interim.
Changes in responsibility were also observed by advisors. Zahid Chenzeb will now be in charge of the Labor Department, and Ihtehsam Ali, who was previously the Health Advisor, has been moved to Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control.
Muhammad Israr has been transferred from Commerce to Irrigation, and Arbab Muhammad Asim has been assigned to Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SE) among SACMs. Furthermore, Bajaur MPA Hameed-ur-Rehman has been named SACM. Officials said the restructuring aims to ensure efficiency in service delivery and improve governance.
