Significant changes in the Punjab bureaucracy

In a major upheaval in Punjab bureaucracy, the government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders for various provincial secretaries and commissioners throughout the province.

According to a notification released here, Musrrat Jabeen has been appointed Commissioner of Bahawalpur, Aamir Karim Khan as Commissioner of Multan Division, and Wajid Ali Shah as Secretary Coordination to the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Humaira Ikram has been appointed MD of the Punjab Textbook Board, Zeeshan Shabbir Rana Special Secretary Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, Ahmad Javed Qazi Secretary Cooperative Punjab, and Imran Sikandari (waiting appointment) Secretary Transport.

Secretary Zakat and Ushar Mian Abrar Ahmed have been directed to report to the S&GAD Department.

According to the notification, Irfan Ahmed has been appointed Secretary Zakat and Ushr, Nasir Mahmood Bashir MD, Tourism Development Corporation Punjab, Ashfaq Ahmed Commissioner, Dera Ghazi Khan, Maryam Khan Commissioner, Faisalabad, Salwat Saeed Registrar, Cooperative Societies, and Nadir Chatha Secretary, Skills Development.
