Sindh’s Hindu community will have a two-day Diwali vacation.

In honor of Diwali, one of the Hindu community’s most important religious holidays, the Sindh government has declared a two-day public holiday.

The official announcement states that Monday, October 20, and Tuesday, October 21, would be honored as general holidays throughout the province.

Hindu employees can now celebrate Diwali with typical fervor thanks to the news, since the two days in a row will offer more time for family get-togethers, religious ceremonies, and cultural celebrations.

The announcement from the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD) affirms that all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations, local councils, and corporations under the Sindh government’s administrative jurisdiction will observe the holidays.
