Six journalists receive notifications from the Cyber Agency, and LHC imposes a stay order.

Chief Justice Aalia Neelum of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday granted a stay order against the National Cyber Crime Agency’s notifications to six journalists.
On October 14, the Chief Justice also called the investigating officer. Muhammad Ashfaq, president of the Courts Journalists Association, Arshad Ansari, president of the Lahore Press Club, and others were among those who received the warnings.
The Chief Justice had concerns about the investigation’s transparency and questioned the National Cyber Crime Agency’s notices. “What kind of spectacle has the NCCI created?” she questioned the investigating officer, referring to the law under which these notices had been issued.
During the hearing, a sizable contingent of journalists attended the courtroom.
The Chief Justice also questioned whether YouTubers who regularly disparage different organizations had received the same treatment. Has the same action been taken in each of the 50,000 complaints the NCCI has received, she pointed out?
To allow for a more thorough examination of the case, Chief Justice Aalia Neelum instructed the investigating officer to bring a copy of the complaint and the entire record to the court at the upcoming hearing.
