Soon after asking for prayers on Instagram, Nausheen Shah almost deleted her account.

In her Instagram stories on Tuesday night, actress Nausheen Shah asked her fans to pray for her, as she has been experiencing anxiety and sadness due to mental health issues.

She said, “I would request all my fans to pray for me,” along with a selfie video of herself taken from her car, showing the actor from “Pehli Si Muhabbat” wearing a hijab. I am experiencing depression and anxiety. I must ask for prayers. Much obliged.

In the wake of Israel’s continued atrocities in Gaza, Shah soon after deleted all of her posts with the exception of a few family photos, a few religious sayings, and a handful in which she expressed her solidarity for Palestine.

Suspicious admirers also noted that Shah was only featured in a small number of her own pictures that she allowed to remain on her wall, all of which showed her with a scarf around her head.

On her official Instagram account, Shah has around 500,000 followers, and hundreds of them have offered the star well wishes and prayers.
