Suicide is the fourth leading cause of death among individuals under 30, according to the minister.

During a lecture in Karachi, Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho stated that individuals have convenient access to germicides, rodenticides, and various other chemicals.

“The United States and various other regions enforce stringent regulations concerning medical prescriptions,” stated the minister of Sindh.

Azra Pechuho stated that fewer suicide instances are being recorded in Pakistan.

The health minister stated, “We have a shortage of psychiatrists and psychologists.” “The prevalence of drug addiction among children and adolescents is alarmingly rising,” she stated.

The health minister stated that drug addiction is also indicative of rising psychological and mental issues inside society.
