Ten more Peshawar High Court judges are sworn in.

Ishtiaq Ibrahim, the Chief Justice of the PHC, swore in the new high court judges.

Ten judges’ names were approved for appointment to the PHC last Saturday during a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, which was presided over by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.

In a ceremony at the Peshawar High Court, Justice Farah Jamshed, Justice Inamullah, Justice Qazi Jawad Ahsan, Justice Mudassar Ameer, Justice Abdul Fayyaz, Justice Salahuddin, Justice Sadiq Ali, Justice Tariq Afridi, Justice Sabitullah Khan, and Justice Aurangzeb Khan take the oath of office.

Ten more judges have been added, bringing the PHC’s strength to 23.

During its session, the JCP authorized the names of eight attorneys and two district judges, Farah Jamshed and Inamullah, for the high court position.
