The accused in the murder case of PTI leader Dr. Shahid Siddique is granted bail by the LHC.

Shahid Nadeem, an accused in the murder case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Shahid Siddique, was granted bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday.
In a two-page written ruling, Justice Amjad Rafiq of the LHC stated that the complainant’s attorney had argued against bail, pointing out that the accused had a criminal record and had attacked Dr. Shahid Siddique seven months prior.
In its ruling, the court stated that more research is necessary on the subject. Shahid Nadeem was not charged with shooting at the deceased, according to the defense. His bail was granted by the court against Rs. 500,000 in surety bonds.
During a news conference, DIG Organized Crime Unit Imran Kishwar announced that Muhammad Qayyum, the deceased’s son, was also implicated in the murder and that the shooter had been taken into custody. Saqlain Aslam, Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Sajjad, and Nawaz Ali were among the other accused. Police claim that Qayyum acknowledged planning his father’s murder due to a small argument and making a Rs. 40 million agreement with hired gunmen.
The murder weapon was found, and all of the gunmen were taken into custody. On August 2, Dr. Shahid Siddique was shot and killed in Lahore.
