The ‘Ataturk XIII’ combined military exercises between Pakistan and Turkey have begun.

The Special Operations School in Cherat hosted the opening ceremony for the two-week-long joint military exercise “Ataturk XIII.”
The Special Forces of Pakistan and Turkey’s Special Services Group Units are taking part in the combined exercises.
This is the 13th time that the two nations’ armed forces have worked together bilaterally to combat terrorism.
At the opening ceremony, Cherat, the Special Operations School’s commandant, served as the Chief Guest.
Regular military exercises between the two nations are held. The exercise’s goal is to improve professional skills through joint training.
In addition to strengthening the two countries’ long-standing military ties, the military drill will allow the two countries’ armed forces to gain knowledge from one another’s experiences.
